Neurodiversity
Neurodiversity is a term used to describe the natural variations in how individuals think, feel, learn, and interact with the world. It recognises that how our minds process information is as unique as our fingerprints, and no two brains are alike. Neurodiversity promotes acceptance, inclusivity, and the creation of environments that value all kinds of minds.
Neurodiversity acknowledges the barriers neurodivergent individuals can face while emphasising their strengths and the invaluable perspectives they bring to society.
An individual may be considered neurodivergent if the way they process information differs from what is considered typical. Forms of neurodivergence include for example Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Tourette Syndrome or ADHD.
